Al's Rothko inspired carbon

"Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me as is ever so on the road".
"There was nowhere to go but everywhere. So just keep on rolling".   Jack Kerouac.

This is Al's new carbon ride. It is called "Organic" as the colours are organic in mood.
The colours and patterns are inspired by the American Artist Mark Rothko.

FELIS Kit.

My friends and I are thinking of producing a cycling kit for FELIS Bike Art. I would appreciate some feedback on this design. Thankyou, Steve.

My 1975 Punk Raleigh

I've had this bike since 1979. It used to be my roadie, now it is a single speed. I feel it has always desired to be one. Photos taken in Nth. Melbourne by Normie Chan.

Some of the rides I have painted.

1. My old Raleigh gets a punk makeover.
2. My roadie (called "Desire") inspired by Mondrian and Rauschenberg
3. Russ' Constructivist Revolutionary Rocket.

From Spak Critter to FELIS Bike Art

FELIS Bike Art came about because there seemed to be some confusion over the word "Spak" The word is common knowledge to the Australian language, but not so to the rest of the world.
A change was needed, the name needed to "grow up a little", though still retaining the "Cat" idea, FELIS being the scientific name for all things Feline.
Look out for more to come soon. Regards, Steve.
